There’s something special about relationships and marriage we don’t talk about enough — how they help us grow in our individual awareness; Therefore changing us for the better… to be more compassionate, patient, loving, and understanding human beings. To be expressions of love.
The remembrance of this growth came flooding in when I read Keith’s vows the morning of our big day in a letter he wrote me. We both wrote each other, and our words so closely aligned in the mutual gratitude we shared for the darkest of storms in our relationship; for it’s the darkness that brings forth the light. And, of course, calling attention to the little moments (Netflix binges, walks in nature with our fur babies, dancing in the kitchen together, etc.). Little moments of the biggest love!
This display of mutual love, understanding, and gratitude was, by far, my brightest moment of our day, and it will continue to be the brightest part of the rest of our life together!
