Michael and I met working together in 2012 and dated for eight years before getting married in 2021. He was the most charismatic and talkative person I had ever met and we balanced each other out perfectly. His family is from Italy so we began vacationing and visiting with them there often. During the spring of 2019 we were in Tuscany and Michael proposed at our favorite hotel, Villa Cora. He was beyond nervous, but it ended up being an amazing evening followed by dinner in Florence. The following August we went back to Italy with my family and began looking at venues for our wedding. However, once the pandemic began our hopes of getting married in Italy quickly fell through. Fast forward two years to the summer of 2021 we decided to plan (in 2.5 months) a small ceremony and reception at the Pittsburgh Field Club. Never in a million years did I think it would turn out so amazing. By the time the sun went down the venue could have been mistaken for Tuscany, all thanks to the amazing vendors and staff that helped plan the evening and magically transform the venue.
