We met all the way back in elementary school when our basketball teams used to scrimmage each other. We liked each other since the start and first got more serious freshman year of high school. We stayed together through the majority of high school and college despite 4 years of long distance. We bought our first home together last September. After all of our renovations were finished, he planned a nice date night out for us to celebrate both our house becoming a home and our 10 year anniversary. We stopped on Mt. Washington to “drop off a borrowed tool” to a friend, when he got down on one knee and asked for me to spend forever with him. Of course, I said yes—which was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. Since then, we’ve initiated the wedding planning process. We plan to have the ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral on November. 12, 2022. We’ve started touring venues and are really hoping to get the Pittsburgh Opera House, but regardless we know the big day will turn out perfect as we celebrate our love with those we love most — and of course our FAVORITE photographer 🤍
