How We Met
From Taylor, Chris grew up right down the street from me. We are from a small town and went to the same school. However, we never spoke until high school. My freshman year, his sophomore year, we became friends and very soon after I was crushing on him. Over the summer we drifted apart, but once school started back we grew close again. He officially asked me to be his girlfriend in October of 2015. Since then we have been inseparable. We became the cliche high school quarterback and cheerleading captain love story. We have been together for 5 years now and couldn’t imagine life without each other.
The Proposal
This January we were in Mexico on vacation with my family. After spending a day at the pool we decided to get ready and take pictures on the beach before dinner. When he was excited to go to the beach to take pictures I knew something was up. After taking a couple of pictures he pulled out a Tiffany heart necklace. I thought I finally knew why he was excited to get pictures. We then took a couple more pictures and then he told me to flip the necklace over. On the back of the necklace it had the date engraved. This is when he dropped to one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I couldn’t say yes fast enough. It was a vacation I’ll never forget.
The Wedding
We are getting married on June 11th, 2022 at the Bella Amore on Enchanted Acres. I’m so excited to marry my high school sweet heart.
