To the moon & back

How they met:

Kaitlyn and Andy met in college their sophomore year. Andy offered Kaitlyn and her friends a slice of pizza on the college shuttle at Pitt. They remained friendly throughout college, but when Andy asked Kaitlyn to go to dinner while she was in graduate school, she knew that he might be interested in being more than “just friends”. After hitting it off at dinner and subsequent dates and activities with each of their groups of friends, they began to officially date. Together they’ve gone through life’s high’s and low’s together. Today they live in Dormont with their beloved pets.

Our favorite parts of our wedding day:

As cliche as it sounds, our entire wedding day was a dream come true for us. We loved every minute including the beautiful ceremony in Heinz Chapel, riding in the trolley with our fantastic wedding party, and greeting our wonderful guests at the Priory. We also enjoyed the intimate and fun photo session with Kristi before our reception. At one point, we surprised a homeowner as we were taking photos on his front steps, but he congratulated us and unlocked his beautiful courtyard in order for us to get a few more photos! Andy was sure to enjoy all of the great food, cookies, and desserts at the reception and they both enjoyed dancing the night away with family and friends.
