How they met
From the bride “We were actually set up on a blind date by a friend of mine. She found out that we both worked for the same company, but didn’t know each other. Ian was assertive in asking me to a sunday afternoon lunch at Meat & Potatoes in the city. I was hesitant, but I went. I figured its only one date!! He gave me directions on which parking garage to park in and where to meet him. He said the one across from CVS. Well, there are a ton of parking garages downtown and just as many CVS’s. I parked in the completely wrong area and was lost on the streets. Ian told me to stand still and look up at the biggest building i could see, then he would find me. After walking all over the city looking for each other, we finally met! It was a great ice breaker on how bad I am with directions! That was my last lunch date and the first day this incredible love story began. We have been together for 2 years now.
The wedding day
The day of the wedding was a blur. I just remember being incredibly nervous before the ceremony. once the music started, I took my dads arm and we began walking down the aisle. I felt like i was running down it and once I saw Ian, everything in the background faded away, it was just he and I. The day was perfect and if it wasn’t, I didn’t notice. I was so happy to marry my best friend and celebrate with our friends and family. The day was truly magical, a day we would relive over and over again if we could.”
