My favorite moment from our wedding day was watching Carly walk down the aisle. Standing up at the altar and staring down the beautiful halls of St. Paul’s felt like a dream. And getting to watch my perfect bride approach me seemed surreal. It’s a moment I’ll never forget for as long as I live.
Carly:
My favorite moment from our wedding day was Chase and I’s first look. We had our first look on the roof of our hotel, which overlooked the city. Our bridesmaids and groomsmen lined up on both sides of the roof, as I walked down the middle of them towards my groom. It was such a bright and sunny winter day, with all of our most treasured friends and family watching me approach Chase—it felt like I was walking into heaven. As I tapped chase on the shoulder and he turned around to see me, I’ll never forget his first words: “Carly, you look incredible”
Another favorite moment of ours was doing our vows at St Paul’s. We held each other’s right hand and proceeded to say our vow’s in front of all of our family and friends at the church, however in the that moment it felt like we were the only two people in the entire building. I felt so spiritually and emotionally connected to Chase in that moment, that I actually forgot we had an audience of 200 people. After all of the hustle and bustle of preparing for a wedding, in that moment all that mattered was our love.
