“We dated briefly in high school where our initial spark happened. But being so young, our paths led us on different journeys.
Fast forward 30 plus years we reconnected.
We again, found that spark, and started dating.
Eventually, I moved in with Scott, who has a beautiful home in the country. I’ve lived in the city and suburbs, but never the country, so this was new to me. I can’t tell you how amazing it is waking up in the morning watching chickens peck around the property. It’s so quiet in the evening and the stars are so bright at night.
We have a beautiful dog and indoor cat.
We garden in the summer and love growing wild flowers around the property. In the winter, we enjoy our wood burning stove and I use this time of the year to decorate.
We both agree, however long we have together on this earth, it was worth the wait.”
