how they met

We met at a time in our life when getting into a serious relationship was the last thing we both expected. Billy was applying to medical school, and getting ready to move to Pittsburgh for school, and I just got out of a relationship where I was heartbroken. Once we started dating, we fell in love and promised each other we would do whatever it took to make our relationship work. We did long distance for a year, while I lived in New York and Billy did his first year of med school at Pitt. Billy proposed to me on Christmas of 2018 at Rockefeller Center in NYC. He arranged to have the skating rink emptied, with just me and him remaining on the ice while our song was playing. He then proposed with a huge group of people gathered around the rink watching. I moved here a year later and we’re both so thankful to be together. We plan to get married in 2022 here in Pittsburgh and we couldn’t be more excited!
