How they met

Emily and Chris’s story of love started in a school library at Point Park University. It was in the middle of December, 2013 when these two students were trying to get work done. Chris, who was going for his Masters and Emily, studying her undergrad degree, were working on a project for their respective classes in the same room, unaware of each others presence. When Emily’s group needed some help, she left to go find the teacher, but Chris, who was leaving for food, ended up helping her group with their problem.

The proposal

When Emily returned, her group mates pointed out that the kid who was dressed in shorts, a hoodie and a backward baseball cap in the middle of winter eating a large pizza by himself was able to solve their problem.  Over the course of three straight days, these two would run into each other, followed by long conversations and little focus on finals.
Fast forward one month later from that birthday party and Chris finally asked Emily out with a romantic home cooked five-course dinner in his apartment. After three plus years of dating, Chris finally asked Emily to be his future wife on October 18, 2016 and on September 22, 2018 we are looking forward to celebrating our life of love with you.

Favorite wedding memories

From Emily:
Seeing our churched PACKED
Putting my my moms dress
I was never nervous at any point and was calm and collected all day, until I walked down the aisle and saw Chris, thats when it hit me and I lost it
From Chris:
Seeing me walk down the aisle
The 15 second pause in the church to look at everyone who came out to celebrate our biggest moment. Just a powerful moment
When I found out your wedding vowels were the same as what I put on your picture as part of your wedding gift. It just showed the parallels of how close we think to each other and just how important and special that message was to both of us
