Gerry & Kara

 Gerry and Kara always knew or heard of one another but never really met. They grew up five minutes from one another. Their sisters have been best friends for about 17 years. Gerry lived in Florida and Kara lived in Pittsburgh, he moved back about 3.5 years ago and came into a place Kara was working with a mutual friend. They met about 2.5-3 years ago and it was love at first sight. “He got my number that day and we met up and have been together ever since. He’s been my best friend and I couldn’t imagine a day without him. He is my balance, my energy and soulmate.”

Their ceremony took place at Heinz chapel and wedding reception at Hotel Monaco.  The couple wanted an atmosphere that screamed Kara and Gerry and have romantic, modern, eclectic, fun vibe.  We decided to skip the traditional “photo hour” after the ceremony and enjoy the cocktail hour with their family and friends instead.  The cocktail hour was on the roof top for two hours with The Bachelor Boys Band and it was truly amazing and full of fun!   But the best surprise was when their best friend opened the reception singing a beautiful love song for them, following by the heart melting speeches from friends and family.   The day was full of love and laughter.  Then once the party began…it didn’t stop! The dance floor was full the entire time. You could see how much fun all the guests were having and how Kara and Gerry made them feel so welcome.  I had a hard time selecting pictures for the blog, because they are all so dynamic and beautiful, but here a few (270 😂) to shows just how amazing that day was!
