This year couldn’t possibly start any better. On January 21, we welcomed our 2nd son Max Christopher.
I took 3 months of maturity break and started shooting in Spring.
2016 was a first year when I had a limit on # of weddings I take a month (to survive with 2 under 2 😉 ). From April- November I had 3 weddings in a row with 1 weekend break. Busy, crazy, but absolutely wonderful season!
I always loved rustic styled weddings. I get excited every time I shoot in barns in a middle of nowhere. I was lucky enough to shoot in Armstrong Farms, Rustic Acres, the Gathering Place and The Hayloft this year for the first time and I honestly felt like the entire wedding day is not enough to capture the beauty of those farms. Â
In addition to that, this year I had a love affair with downtown. Even though I loved shooting in the city before, I felt like this year it was on a different level for me.
The year was full of beautiful details
Stunning ceremonies
Raw emotions and touching moments
Those who follow my work through the years know that bridal portraits is the major aspect in my photography, but you might noticed that this year I started paying a lot of attention to grooms’ as well! Â
2016 and it’s crazy parties!
I truly had incredible couples this year and most of them I knew from my previous weddings or 2015 engagement sessions.
This year I tried to catch either sunset or night shot whenever I had an opportunity and I am planning on doing the same for 2017. Â
I finished the year with November/December sessions
It was a wonderful year for me personally and professionally. Â Thanks so much to all my amazing couples, hair and make-up artist, wedding coordinators and to everyone who helped me to make this year truly unforgettable! Â Cheers to 2017!
