 Planning began almost immediately. We toured many venues, met with various vendors, and tried to make our wedding very special for the two of us. We decided Armstrong Farms would be an excellent choice, and set the official date in June, 4 years after we first met.

Our wedding was everything that we had ever dreamed, and so much more. We loved every minute of it! It was great to share the day with our close family and friends. We had guests from near and far – Ecuador, New Mexico, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, and of course Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. All of the small details that we had both stressed over so much, all paid off. Everything from choosing the venue, the flowers, the caterer, down to the little details like what font to use on our invitations, would make this “our day” to remember.

As the day began, it was hard to believe that that all of the countless hours planning our wedding had finally become our actual wedding day, to say it was surreal would be an understatement. On June 25, 2016 we finally said “I Do,” and began the next chapter in our lives as Mr. and Mrs. Cowell.

 The day began with us getting ready for the first look. We wanted to see one another before the ceremony so we could spend more time with our guests. My anticipation was over when Courtney walked out of the house, and I turned to see my Bride. We smiled and laughed because we knew this would be the day we will never forget.

It was the best day ever. A wonderful and beautiful day filled with love, laugher, smiles and tears. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our love for each other. It was a warm sunny day where clouds floated lazily by, and everything fell perfectly into place. As the reception came to an end, family and friends said their goodbyes and congratulations. Armstrong Farms had prepared a small fire for us to relax around as the day came to an end. This was a day we will never forget. ”
