I was fortunate enough to experience Kristi’s work first hand at a friend’s wedding a few years back and knew that there wasn’t anyone else that could hold a candle to her. My wife and I were married in October of 2015. When it came to our wedding date, we had a window in mind, but in terms of a specific date – that revolved around Kristi’s availability because we knew she was the only one we wanted to shoot our wedding. Wow, where to begin?! Kristi’s photography was hands down the best decision that we made in regards to the wedding day (besides saying “I do”). She took both our engagement photos as well as for the wedding day, and was the ultimate professional. She is very clearly passionate about what she does, in addition to being so polite and fun to work with. She is extremely hard work working; she was constantly moving around trying to get our best angles and light. She has the vision of what she wants, and specific shots of what I knew I wanted, and she knows how to execute those shots even with several people in the photo. Kristi was also great at leading us through the timeline of the wedding day and helping to keep us all on schedule. Now the photos: they are truly beyond all of my expectations!! She captured our most favorite moments of the day in a way that really pull you back to what emotions you were feeling at that time. She was able to capture the light in the most perfect way to make you look like the best version of yourself. We’ve gotten SO many compliments from friends and strangers alike from people who have seen our photos on social media who couldn’t help but gush about them. She seriously made me look like a princess from a fairytale. My suggestion is to any bride who is looking for amazing photographs to remember their special day would be to book Kristi immediately so that she will be able to fit you into her busy wedding season schedule!

  This June marks 3 years since I married my best friend and love of my life! While planning my wedding, I had remembered a few years back that I had seen a bride on my Facebook that Kristi Telnov had photographed. Her pictures were beyond gorgeous and captured this “fairytale look” I couldn’t help but fall in love with. She captures the perfect lighting and most intimate and fun moments of your wedding. I was on a very strict budget, having had a baby 6 months prior to my wedding, and thought I wouldn’t be able to afford my dream photographer. I searched all of Pittsburgh, but there really was no other photographer that compared to her style. The minute I met Kristi I fell completely in love with her! Not only are her photos the most gorgeous I’ve ever laid eyes on but, she is so fun and passionate about her work. I knew there was no other photographer for my wedding. She literally lights up when she knows she has captured the perfect picture! I lowered my budget on other vendors because I know on my 50 year anniversary when I’m looking back on my wedding, I will have these pictures of special moments to look back at. I will be able to share these beautiful “fairy tale moments” with my grandchildren. Every year I make sure to get a beautiful family session with Kristi also! She is the only vendor of my wedding that I still keep in touch with, and people still come up to me and talk about how beautiful my wedding pictures are! She is ridiculously talented, and just a genuinely beautiful person!

  Kristi is absolutely amazing! She is the best in Pittsburgh photography! We have worked with Kristi twice. First for my cousin’s wedding and then our own. She is so sweet to work with and quick at responding to e-mails. Our wedding pictures were out of this world! Everyone who saw the pictures were blow away at how beautiful they were. Kristi captured so many moments from the wedding that were breathtaking. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for the lifetime of memories. Every time I look at our pictures I feel like I am reliving the day! Kristi makes sure she is getting the perfect picture. She is meticulous in her posing, but makes the pictures look natural.   Working with Kristi is the BEST decision you could make for your special moments in life that you want to capture in images forever.  Her style of photography has the ability to capture those raw moments and emotions that speak through those images.  I was lucky enough to work with Kristi for engagement photos, a boudoir shoot, and full day wedding coverage.  These images allow me to go back and remember the pure happiness that was felt between both my husband and I during those shoots.   I was looking at a lot of photographers before starting working with Kristi and I can tell you for sure that she is the best photographer in Pittsburgh! All of her brides look like super models she finds a right angle for each of them. Even my husband who was honestly a little surprised how much photographers charge for weddings said that Kristi’s pictures are worth every penny you spend. I always say to my friends who are getting married there are 3 things that you don’t want to cut your budget on they are good make up artist, good hair stylist and an excellent photographer because wedding pictures are the only thing that is going to be left after your big day and you want them to be beautiful so you wouldn’t be ashamed to show them to your grandchildren! my coworkers are so jealous of my pictures and they always say that my pictures look like a magazine spread. I would definitely recommend Kristi, she is great and easy to work with!!! I couldn’t be happier with my wedding pictures they are perfect!

  Kristi is without a doubt a phenomenal photographer. The week after my fiance proposed to me, I immediately did extensive research to find the photographer that stood out to me. After reviewing her work, I knew I could not go wrong with Kristi. Even though I had previous plans to book with a local photographer, Kristi’s work blew me away. Without hesitation, I contacted her to get additional information. She immediately returned my email with everything I needed to know. As an elementary teacher, I found that to be commendable. I just recently received an email from her with an example of wedding day plans/times for photography. I can not thank her enough for an example blueprint of how she operates on a wedding day. Her organization is out of this world! Along with that, we just had our engagement photographs taken by her. She arrived prior to the given time and knew exactly what she wanted us to do. She made the process very painless and absolutely memorable. My fiance and I are not crazy about awkward action shots, but Kristi made it so comfortable for us. I could literally write a book about how absolutely beautiful our engagement photographs turned out. I literally can not even decide which is my all time favorite. Every single photograph was perfect and captured us as a couple. I am now itching for wedding photographs! Booking with Kristi is probably the smartest decision I have ever made in my life, aside from finding my fiance. : ) I do not know how any other photographer can top what she does.

Kristi is an artist and the best at what she does! She takes time to get to know her clients and capture them in their element. All her photos are natural and elegant. I also must compliment her on her willingness to take chances and try new things. For example, my husband and I ran through a flock of birds for 15 minutes to capture the most amazing action shot on our wedding day. One year later as our family is now three, we booked her again for a family winter photo shoot. I was nervous with the weather but Kristi buddled up and spent the time to capture the most amazing photos we will cherish forever. We plan on booking Kristi again as our family continues to grow and make new memories

  Even before I got engaged I knew I wanted to work with Kristi when I had a wedding some day. I had seen some pictures she had taken of a few weddings on Facebook. When I got engaged in 2014 Kristi was the first step. I secured her for our 2015 wedding (she books up fast!) and set up an engagement shoot. My husband and I had a great time working with Kristi at both sessions. She was very open to the locations I was wanting and we got so many amazing pictures of the city. Even when it was 90 degrees in May for our wedding we still found ways to keep cool and even get some awesome pictures in a bar down by PNC Park. Kristi is creative and so easy to work with. My engagement and wedding pictures both turned out amazing. My family, friends, and co-workers all were amazed with how beautiful my pictures turned out. My sister is getting married this fall and I’m excited to work with Kristi again and know that the pictures will be beautiful. The pictures look beautiful on the canvases I got made and the photo album that Kristi made. Kristi takes pictures that are unlike a lot of photographers and catches so many magical moments. She is with every penny and you won’t regret booking her for any type of professional photos!

I wanted to find a special, romantic gift to give my husband and after seeing her photographs, I knew it had to be an anniversary shoot with her! We traveled all the way from Hershey Pennsylvania just to have that opportunity. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our engagement and wedding photos done by Kristi Telnov. Out of all the decisions we made for our wedding, she was BY FAR the best one. Every girl deserves to look back on her wedding day (or any other special day) and feel like she is her most beautiful self. Kristi will not disappoint on that! Not only is she creative and talented, but she is also kind and so easy to work with. We felt totally comfortable with her right from the start. My husband and I also really loved that she was a great “coach” before our sessions with outfit suggestions, and during our sessions by occasionally telling us if we needed to adjust our positions, expressions or hair. We are so thankful for Kristi and will continue to go to her for our pictures in the future because sometimes you only get one chance to capture memories of a lifetime and we want the best!
